Traditional American music is indeed at the origins of a complete serie of current music crazes. What about going right up to the roots and taking you there, to these intense moments during which pioneers, slaves did all invent? « Musique Acoustique asbl » had its appetite whetted after Old-Time Bluegrass « The Straps » local group's concert that had been attended by over 600 people in 2004 on the occasion of the outing and the promotion of their first CD, « Appalaches ». The success, the atmosphere and the conviviality of htat evening made this association want to do it again in the same authentical and countryside setting of the Roiseau farm in the hamlet of Hamawé, with a somehow changed formula. For this reason, it organized the very first Belgian Bluegrass festival : Hamawé Bluegrass Festival.
