Five famous characters are brought into the light in this museum, among which, the most well-known is likely Etienne Lenoir, about who many people say he invented the internal combustion engine. Etienne Lenoir (born in 1822).
He laid 80 patents which the famous air engine inflated by the combustion of the gas lighting lighted by the electricity.
Michel Justin Duvigneaud (born in 1810): inventor for the dip pen.
The abbot Vital Alexandre (born in 1868): in 1914, he offers his lifer for his parishioners taken in hostage and he will shoot.
Marcel Laurent (born in 1872): curator of royal museums of Art and History.
