War memorial
This memorial is dedicated to the inhabitants of Tintigny who suffered duing the First World War. The names of 46 civilians who were shot by the Gezrman soldiers in August 1914 are written on it. So are the names of 3 soldiers who died fighting, the names of 4 deportees and of 2 shot resistance fighters (the Collard brothers). The decision to create a commemorative memorial was made in 1919, but it is only at the begining of the 30s that this memorial was erected. It is the work of the sculptor Jean Canneel from Brussels and of the architect from Arlon, Lamy.
After 1945, a commemorative plate to the Chasseurs Ardennais was added on the memorial
